ResQmax™
line thrower
Deploys a line only, or an auto-inflating flotation sling and retrieval line, to an otherwise inaccessible point in both land-based and maritime environments – without putting the rescuer at risk. Patented air-thrust technology: non-pyrotechnic, reusable and refillable.
MAXimum Distance
As a line thrower, the ResQmax™ delivers a variety of line types over distances up to 400 ft / 120 m. As a water-rescue device it delivers an auto-inflating flotation sling and retrieval line to a victim up to 300 ft / 92 m away.
MAXimum Safety
The safety mechanism is “always on”, resetting automatically when a projectile is inserted. The projectile’s “Push-Click” engagement allows easy reloading, even in the dark, and a pressure relief burst disk prevents unsafe pressure build-up from exposure to extreme heat.
MAXimum Performance
Multi-shot capacity: the patented nozzle valve lets any number of projectiles be pre-charged and stored with the unit, for deployment of multiple projectiles in rapid succession.

- Launcher housing injection-molded from polycarbonate for durability and high impact resistance.
- The auto-inflating sling inflates on contact with water and supports a 300 lb / 136 kg victim; two manual back-up systems assure fail-safe inflation.
- Comes in standard kits, and can be equipped with lines of specific strength and length for your requirements.
- Powered by compressed air: intrinsically safe and suitable for use in Class 1, Division 1 environments.
- Designed to meet the requirements of NFPA 1670 (Operations and Training for Technical Rescue) and to help teams meet NFPA 1006.

ResQmax™ launcher
Throws a line or an auto-inflating sling and retrieval line to an otherwise inaccessible point. The safety is “always on”, resetting automatically when a projectile is inserted.
Folding stock
Standard on every launcher for greater accuracy; folds into a convenient carry handle.
Sling projectile
Deploys an auto-inflating flotation sling and retrieval line to a victim in the water. A water-activated device inflates the sling on contact, supporting a 300 lb / 136 kg victim.
Line projectile
Deploys a variety of lines over a range of distances, depending on the service pressure and the line used.
Red training projectile
For repeated use when deploying a line onto a hard surface. The high-density urethane cover reduces “bounce” – ideal for RASing, UNREPS and training.
Luminescent training projectile
Same size and performance as the red projectile, with a luminescent cover for night operations. Recharges in daylight, incandescent, fluorescent or UV light.
Streamline filler hose
Delivers compressed air from a high-pressure compressor, an SCBA tank or a SCUBA tank to charge the projectile. Adapters are available for each air source (American SCBA, European SCBA-DIN, SCUBA and compressor).
Ropes & lines
Dacron, Spectra, Polypropylene and Polyspectra lines in several diameters and test strengths – see Line options.
Kit carry bag
Rugged Cordura bag with two external and one internal zippered pockets, reinforced water-resistant vinyl bottom and reflective strips.
“Pelican” transport / storage case
Unbreakable, watertight, dust-proof, chemical- and corrosion-proof case of Ultra Impact structural copolymer. Can be adapted to fasten to the rail of a vessel.
